Worcestershire Primary Care Trust is eager to recruit an enthusiastic and committed individual to the post of Health Improvement Coordinator - Children, Young People & Families. The post will be focussed specifically on improving adolescent health and wellbeing in Worcestershire. You will help to lead and coordinate the development of health and wellbeing programmes for young people within the county. In particular, you will assist and work closely with the Children and Young People's Strategic Partnership to enable Worcestershire to Be Healthy.

You will lead specific programmes of work related to improving teenage health. Such as improving sexual health, tackling teenage pregnancy, addressing diet, nutrition, physical inactivity and tackling obesity, adolescent mental health and reducing rates of smoking, drugs and alcohol misuse. If you are successful, you will have the opportunity to work within a dynamic, forward thinking wider public health team. You will be fully supported by public health colleagues across the county and at a District level.
