WCC VCS Budget Information Meeting
Colleagues in the VCS are invited to a County Council budget meeting. As you may be aware, each year the Council holds a series of meetings with representatives from the community to discuss its proposed budget plans and the possible impact this may have locally. The meeting for Voluntary and Community Sector groups will take place at County Hall, Worcester on Thursday, 29 January 2009 at 6.30p.m. We would welcome the opportunity to talk to you about the Council’s proposals for 2009/10 and answer any questions you may have at the meeting. A report on next year’s Budget and Council Tax was considered by the Cabinet at its meeting on 18 December 2008, and it may be helpful to read this before the meeting.
