WCC Grant Giving Process
Information for Round 2 of WCC Grant Giving ProcessThis Monday, 8th September, Worcestershire County Council launched Round 2 of the grant giving process, there is money available for both Strategic and Community Grants in the following areas:
Strategic (3 years): Community Transport £765,000
Older Peoples Services £352,257
Community (1 year) Equality and Diversity £10,000
Carers Grants £11,000
Community Based Activity for Older People £27,325
The VCS Unit are running 3 Information Sessions around the County for organisations to attend, Grant Leads will be in attendance to provide further information to prospective applicants. Worcestershire Infrastructure Consortium will have a member present at each event to provide support with application filling and information on services they provide. The event details are as follows:
Monday 22nd September 2-4pm Worcester Perdiswell Young People's Leisure Centre
Tuesday 23rd September 10-1pm Wyre Forest Kidderminster Town Hall
Thursday 25th September 10-1pm Wychavon Pershore Civic Centre
Please note, organisations wishing to apply for grants relating to Older People (Strategic and Community) and Equality and Diversity, must attend the events on 22nd or 23rd September. Information on Community Transport will be available on all three dates.
