VCS Guidance Notes
The booklet on Safeguarding Children and Young People which was launched at the VCS conference on 7th March will be circulated with the April edition of our newsletter. This 72 page booklet provides lots of information and sample documents for workers, volunteers, management committee members and trustees in voluntary and community sector organisations. Copies can be obtained from the WCVYS Offices and we are looking to ensure that the message gets into all VCS groups working with children and young people.An electronic version can be downloaded here.
