Safeguarding Children e-Academy Learning Management System

I am writing to let you know that a new course has been made available in the Safeguarding Children e-Academy Learning Management System. Please forward this notice to colleagues in your partner agencies who may be interested.

Safer Working Practices
Based on the Allegations Management Handbook, this course is recommended for everyone who works with children. The learning outcomes for this course are that the learner should have
INCREASED awareness of issues relating to allegations management;
IDENTIFIED signs of inappropriate adult behaviour towards children and young people;
GAINED confidence in challenging inappropriate behaviour;
INCREASED awareness of how to ensure children and young people we work with are protected;
UNDERSTOOD the importance of sharing information appropriately and keeping records;
UNDERSTOOD their responsibility to ensure their behaviour is professional at all times.

Members that have not purchased this course are entitled to 5, 10 or 20 free licences (depending on their membership terms). The LMS administrator should create a new group called n Free Licences Safer Working Practices, and allocate the courses to interested parties from this group.

If you or a partner agency is interested in purchasing this course at member discount rates, please contact your Account Manager - Liz Howarth, Sue Bradbury or Charlotte Nutland
