Specifically, Playful Communities provides practical advice and information on resources for:
- Individuals and community groups interested in developing, improving or simply helping out with play opportunities for children where they live.
- Third sector organisations involved in supporting community groups and volunteers in developing and delivering play provision.
- Third sector organisations directly involved in the provision of either staffed or un-staffed play opportunities.
- Local authorities, their partners on Children’s Trust boards, and other local agencies with responsibilities for the strategy and delivery of local area play provision, including the active involvement of children, young people and local communities.
