Healthaware Showcases

UK Youth's upcoming Healthaware Showcases are an exciting opportunity for all of you working with young people in the areas of Health and Wellbeing to come together to share good practice, network and find out more about developments that can inform and support your work. The events are half-day (12 - 4pm) and include lunch.
Where and when it is...
The dates are as follows:
London - 23rd February at the Royal Horticultural Halls
Birmingham - 3rd March - Maple House
Sheffield - 10th March - Hilton Hotel
What to expect...
Delegates will receive a bag stuffed with health and wellbeing resources - from both the NYA and UK Youth - these will include a Healthaware Toolkit, a training ball, a Bike Club Start-up pack as well as other NYA resources items worth over £60.
In London we will be offering free head massages (compliments of Avatara) and will feature presentations from groups of young people from St John's Ambulance and the Foundation for Women's Health Research and Development (FORWARD).
At all of the events we will be featuring a 'Bike Club' slot explaining how the project can support you to develop health and wellbeing activities through cycling. NHS Lifecheck will also be contributing to the events.
How much...
If you have already got a copy of the Healthaware Toolkit make sure you tell us about your work by completing a simple one-side reporting form which can be found at: http://www.ukyouth.org/Resources/UK%20Youth/Documents/Healthaware%20Challenges%20Reporting%20Form.doc and you will not only be offered free publications but will be offered a free place at one of the above events.
