Funding Opportunity - young people with learning disabilities
Money for young people with learning disabilities in Worcestershire
The Young People’s Panel has once again been given £5000 by the Learning Disability Development Fund to give away to groups and organisations supporting young people with learning disabilities in Worcestershire.
The Panel are keen to support young people across the whole county so please be specific as to where your project will take place.
We can give money for existing projects and for new projects.
We can only fund projects for young people aged 11-25 years with learning disabilities.
The average grant is likely to be about £500. However, for exceptional projects we may give up to £1000. The young people on the Panel are particularly keen to support projects helping young people to learn to use public transport independently, as we know of lots of great activities happening around the County but often young people find it hard to get there.
Please feel free to send additional information with your application if you would like to.
You can email your completed application form to vocal@talktalk.net or post it to:
