Engaging young people in citizenship

The government has created a Youth Citizenship 'online hub' for young people to access funding, information and local opportunities to support youth engagement, http://www.direct.gov.uk/joinin. It includes information on volunteering, finding a local youth council and finding out about politics. This is part of its response to the independent Youth Citizenship Commission, see Cabinet Office news item.
