Draft Integrated Youth Support Strategy Consultation
The Children and Young Peoples Strategic Partnership wants Worcestershire to be the best place for children and young people to grow up – the partnership will support them to make a positive contribution to their communities by ensuring they are happy, healthy and safe and will support their families to achieve this. This will allow them to be responsible, valued, respected and trusted.A draft of the Integrated Youth Support Strategy has been written and is now out for consultation with professionals, young people, parents and communities.
The closing date for the consultation process is 8th August.
There are three key focuses to this consultation:
a) Inform professionals, young people, parents and the community of the draft Integrated Youth Support Strategy
b) Collate young people’s views of the proposals outlined
c) Collate young people’s ideas and suggestion for implementation
WCVYS are running consultation activities in each district:
Wyre Forest - 10am 3rd July – Kidderminster Youth House
Malvern – 10am 4th July – Malvern Sea Cadets
Droitwich – 12.30pm 15th July- Girlguide Centre Droitwich
Evesham – 7pm- 15th July- Ourside Youth Centre
Bromsgrove – 10am – 16th July – Multi Agency Resource Centre
Worcester – 1.30pm –17th July – Worcester Woods Countryside Centre
Redditch – 7pm - 28th July- What’s Your Point Redditch
