CYPSP Newsletter August 2009
Please find attached the latest edition of the Children and Young People's Strategic Partnership's (CYPSP) newsletter, which focuses on the latest Children's Trust developments.Consultations have taken place around the new Statutory Guidance for Children's Trusts and last month (July) a workshop involving the Joint Commissioning Group and Partnership Advisory Body discussed these findings.
In this newsletter you will be able to read about the key messages obtained from the feedback, which have been organised under the following main themes:

The information in this newsletter and feedback from the recent workshop will be fed into this month's Joint Commissioning Board (JCB) on 6 August and Partnership Advisory Body (PAB) meetings where further discussions will take place prior to final approval by the JCB next month (September). The proposed timeline is as follows:
Sept 2009 Draft constitution
Nov 2009 Report to WCC Cabinet and other required governance approval
Jan 2010 Establish 'shadow' arrangements
Apr 2010 Fully effective
