County Sports Awards 2008
Calling all leisure providers, schools, clubs, coaches, committee members, performers, parents and bottle washers ............If you know of a club, team or individual who excelled or showed great dedication during 2007, why not nominate them for the Herefordshire and Worcestershire County Sports Awards?
It could be someone who won every match or competition they competed in, someone who has represented their county, region or country or maybe someone who has dedicated three evenings a week for the last 10 years to running their local junior sports club. Has someone showed commitment to overcome a serious injury or has your team gone the whole season unbeaten?
You can make as many nominations in any of the 13 categories as you would like, including:
junior and senior, male and female sports personality of the year
coach, volunteer, club and team of the year
disabled sports personality of the year
or maybe in the outstanding contribution, community sport and school sport awards
All nominees will be short listed and the top 3 in each category from across the two counties will be invited to the County Sports Awards evening on Thursday 6th March 2008 atThe Bank House, Bransford 7.00 - 9.30pm.
