ContactPoint Update
The Government has made clear its intention to end ContactPoint as soon as is practicable. In the meantime, while ContactPoint remains in use, its operations will be scaled down.Based on the attached letter from the DfE Director:
• The system will be closed down at some point in the near future
• No further data sources to be uploaded
• No further Partner accreditation to be undertaken
• No further training of Users
Based on this situation there will be no further meetings of the Contact Point Implementation Group.
Many thanks for all the hard work in gaining or working towards the accreditation process for the ContactPoint.
Thank you for your commitment and contribution to the implementation meetings and to the ContactPoint Project as a whole.
