Common Assessment Framework Training

There are still spaces left on the following CAF training sessions. Please could you bring this to the attention of any colleagues, or new members of staff, that may still need to attend the training and forward as appropriate. There is still time to book a place. All sessions take place at Perdiswell Young People's Leisure Club
CAF BRIEFING – A 1 hour brief overview of CAF.
Tuesday 7th September, 10am – 11am
CAF PRACTITIONER TRAINING – A 1 day course for practitioners who will be initiating common assessments.
Wednesday 28th July, 9.30am – 4.00pm
Wednesday 11th August, 9.30am – 4.00pm
Wednesday 25th August, 9.30am – 4.00pm
Wednesday 8th September, 9.30am – 4.00pm
CAF MANAGER/SUPERVISOR TRAINING – A half day course for managers/supervisors of staff who are initiating common assessments.
Friday 6th August, 9.30am – 1.00pm
New course: CAF CARD TRAINING
CAF Card training is a 1 day course for those who have used/been involved in the CAF process, and who work with young people aged 11 years plus. The course will
• Introduce the use of CAF cards.
• Explore meanings of CAF cards.
• Explore different ways of using the cards to engage young people and their families.
• Explore using the cards to inform the CAF process.
Tuesday 21st September 20109.30am – 4pm at Perdiswell Young People's Leisure Club
