Common Assessment Framework
CAF is an important tool for early intervention. It has been designed specifically to enable multi-agency professionals to assess children's needs at an earlier stage and work together with families to meet those needs. A co-ordinated approach will ensure better outcomes.A knowledge of the process involved and information around advice and guidance available is important for all workers in the voluntary sector.
