The Big Questionnaire

This has been written by members of Worcestershire Youth Cabinet to find out the views of young people across the County, so that they can tell others what they think and fight for what they want. The information will be passed onto people who can make changes and services will use this information to help make life better for all children and young people.

Completing the Big Questionnaire

The Big Questionnaire is easy to complete and full instructions are provided on page 3. We estimate that it takes around 20 minutes to complete (although this will vary depending on the learner’s needs) and it could be carried out as part of a Citizenship lesson, during tutor time or in the pupil’s own time.

There are two types of straightforward responses used:

Tick a Box
Circle a Number

The questionnaire is confidential so young people are encouraged to be completely honest and answer all of the questions.

What’s in it for me? – PRIZES !!!

Every young person who completes the Big Questionnaire can choose to be entered into a prize draw – including music vouchers, DVDs, books, cinema tickets and an MP3 player. There are around 50 prizes in total meaning lots of chances to win something!

Every school that supports pupils to complete the Big Questionnaire will also be entered into a prize draw. Schools will also be given a breakdown of findings from their pupils and the information can be used towards the development of the Extended Schools core offer.

Contact the Participation & Engagement Team on 01905 827489 with any questions or to request copies of the Big Questionnaire.

Please return all completed surveys to us by Friday 26th October.
