Anti-Bullying Conferences

4 February 2010, 09:00AM - 18 March 2010, 17:00PM

Book today - free one-day conferences on tackling bullying in the community.

Over recent years, the Anti-Bullying Alliance (ABA) has become increasingly aware of how bullying in the wider community can impact on the well-being of children and young people.

To support local practitioners to get to grips with the new Safe from Bullying guidance on tackling bullying in a range of community settings, ABA is organising a series of one-day conferences in each of the nine government regions.

The conference will give you a unique opportunity to:

Hear directly from DCSF about their policy and support for promoting safer communities, and from anti-bullying experts on how to develop practice and partnerships.
Take part in a range of practical workshops and discussions.
Network with other organisations and individuals who have responsibility for tackling bullying in community settings.
Take home useful materials and contacts (including copies of the guidance) to support your anti-bullying work.
Meet your ABA Regional Advisor and develop further links for the future.
